Vineyard: Lagundo
With the indigenous grape variety Lagrein, we take a very individual approach. Especially in its youth, the Lagrein from Lagundo captivates us, shining with a wonderful primary fruit after a year in oak barrels. Its expressive aroma evokes the freshness of alpine flowers, blackberries, blueberries, and cherries, while fine nuances of thyme give it a special depth.
On the palate, the Lagrein is powerful and structured, with grainy but beautifully integrated tannins supported by delicate acidity. The long-lasting, fruity finish symbolically embodies the immense potential of this grape variety.
This inviting and uncomplicated red wine is the perfect companion for any occasion, whether with pizza, pasta, or a “grigliata”.
