LAGREIN

Südtirol-Alto Adige DOC

With the native Lagrein vine we chose to do things our own way.

To us, Lagrein is a “simple, primitive, slightly rough and crude” variety that we appreciate especially when it is young, after refining it in wooden barrels for a year, for its nice primary fruit note. Then Lagrein smells of Alpine Prunella (dark chocolate and vanilla), blackberries and blueberries. The refining in wooden barrels gradually gives maturity and elegance to our Lagrein.

On the palate, it is robust, with well integrated tannins that grant persistence and structure. A lovely red, an easy drink suitable for all occasions.
