PINOT NOIR

Südtirol-Alto Adige DOC

The grapes for our fresh Pinot Noir grow on a small moraine hill of glacial origin in Cornaiano. A well-ventilated vineyard at 435 - 500 metres above sea level brings forth what we love so much of the Pinot Noir: freshness and elegance with crisp tannins. The vineyard allows the grapes to ripen slowly and retain good acidity.

Through a gentle and natural vinification, we preserve the characteristic finesse of the Pinot Noir. It ages for 12 months in used oak barrels, followed by a few months in the bottle, until its origins are distinctively perceivable in the taste: slightly acidic soils and a unique microclimate, with significant day/night temperature differences during the grape ripening.

A Pinot Noir out from the heart of the Alps.
