The idea to produce an outstanding Chardonnay was born when the winery was founded in 2000. The reflection of the different sites and the grapes' origin in the wine's corpus has ever since been the goal.

The grapes come from three vineyards with diverse soils: granite, porphyry and loamy calcareous soil. The best prerequisite for a very complex and age-worthy wine. The gentle wine making of the wine with natural yeasts (spontaneous fermentation), the malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels and the long period on the lees allow the Donà D'Or to develop its individual character.

An elegant, golden-coloured Chardonnay with structure, characterised by aromas of dried fruits, acacia blossoms and honey. The long ageing period makes the Donà D'Or round and soft on the palate. The wine surprises with a salty-mineral and, at the same time, fresh finish.
