Time is my attentive and faithful companion.

Time is my attentive and faithful companion.

I consider time as a pulsating energy or vibrating force, but also as a space for meditation and a patient teacher who approves my work only when it is really complete. Time is my story. This story.

My land. A land with special characteristics, with contrasts and harmonies.

My land. A land with special characteristics, with contrasts and harmonies.

The soil is loose and airy, with a high mineral content. A place with a thousand promises, as long as you are willing to study and understand the qualities of nature.

Only the pace of nature counts.

The light southern breeze blowing in spring and summer from Lake Garda through the Adige valley, the winter frost, the dry and sunny autumn days ...
these are the elements that have always reigned, supreme and incorruptible, on this land.

The vineyard is where my values are rooted.

The vineyard is where my values are rooted.

Here I have spent much of my time, sharpening my senses for what has become increasingly essential to me: the vines, some over 40 years old, that I did not want to abandon to their fate and, above all, the desire to create something special with my grapes. That’s why I am here.

Some people call me “the man who whispered to vines”

The care of vineyards and the accurate pruning done with my own hands are for me moments of meditation and symbiosis with the plants. An inner exchange. A growing together.

It is not the calendar but the sky that decides when the grapes are ready.

It is not the calendar but the sky that decides when the grapes are ready.

The land gives its best but it’s the weather that has the last word. Day after day the vital energy of the grapes grows, and the aromas, the varietal features and the mineral notes emerge more and more clearly. The contrast between hot and cold temperatures in late summer brings the ripening to its peak. It is time to harvest.

Great wines need time to give their best.

Each one of my wines has its own pace, according to which it develops its fruity fragrance and expresses its freshness, minerality and aroma... to find harmony.
For me this is the time of watching and waiting.

I consider myself a free spirit of oenology.

In the cellar, knowledge and intuitive perception come together. The time I appreciate most is when I can work with my wines, studying their extraordinary character, understanding and refining them, note after note ...

Each wine is unique.

Each wine is unique.

After three, four years of refining my wines become extraordinarily seductive, bold, authentic and direct. Great wines that tell, year after year, their special story. If you still have the curiosity of youth and take the time to
understand and knowingly enjoy these wines, you will do yourself a world of good.
